An innovative entrepreneur and the company’s founder, Mr. Gertz has been, and continues to be, the driving force behind the Sunshine Tailor Made concept and Carrington Homes. His thirty years in the home building business has enabled him to apply his skills apply to home and community building, as well as business development.  Under his helm, the Company has assumed a strong leadership role in the community and the industry. Born and raised in the Denver area, Mr. Gertz earned his  MBA degree from the University of Colorado. He is committed to establishing a whole new industry category for the development of residential communities and homes, while elevating the standards and image of the entire home building industry. Mr. Gertz was the Built Green Builder of the Year in 2001 and President of the Denver Home Builders Association in 2004.

 

Norm Nadolsky, Field Manager

Mr. Nadolsky is the Manager of Construction for Carrington Homes, Inc. He worked with Mr. Gertz for numerous years and in 1998 chose to take advantage of the $1 million to $2 million custom market by forming a sister company with Mr. Gertz, Sunshine Carrington, later changed to Carrington Homes, Inc. In 2002, Mr. Nadolsky rejoined forces with Mr. Gertz to build the Sunshine Tailor Made homes bringing his expertise and execution of the field construction for the company. Mr. Nadolsky’s knowledge and construction expertise far exceed the industry standard,  and he was named Construction Manager  Of  the Year  in  2007.

 

Richard Wilsey, Purchasing Director

With immense knowledge in the areas of procurement, purchasing, and managing bids, Mr. Wilsey complements the management team with his substantial skill and experience in assembling financial programs and recognizing internal financial saving opportunities. His ability to integrate the various accounting and purchasing functions, and promote more utilization of the Sunshine systems and processes brings greater value to the bottom line.

 

Paula Turner, Contracts Manager/Design Consultant

Ms. Turner adds over ten years of specialization in the custom home building industry to Sunshine. She was the homeowner liaison and facilitated the communication with both the trades and her homeowners in previous positions. Additionally, she has knowledge and experience in architecture design. She brings her vast expertise and management style of processes and homeowner communication to Sunshine and Sunshine’s homeowners.

 

Sue Reigle, Office Manager and Assistant to the President

Knowledgeable, highly organized, and able to multi-task in various venues, Ms. Reigle focuses on attention to detail while managing every aspect of the Sunshine office. Her efficient style positively contributes to assisting the President with scheduling and project maintenance, while overseeing the office, construction draws, AP/AR, warranty, internal construction, and closing departments.
